Love stories in the mail

#LoveStories in the Mail

The world is full of love! #LoveStories celebrates that love. Each day in February, tell a story about someone who has made your life a little lighter. Better yet, share that story with them.

Have you ever received something in the mail that made your heart soar (not sore!)? A love letter or a care package at just the right moment. Your face broke into an ear to ear grin. We can’t wait to hear about it.

Share your story. #sharethelove

Every year when I was a child my grandmother would send a big box full of gifts. I lived on a farm and didn’t have a toy store nearby and rarely received toys or other trinkets from my parents. When that box arrived, I would be near exploding with excitement. Inside my grandma had always packed toys, sweets, books and more. I would spend hours handling and cataloguing each treasure, playing games, and inventing worlds with the bits and bobs she sent.

I still love to receive things in the mail, don’t we all? This past Christmas I received a Christmas card designed by a friend who is also an amazing artist and all around awesome human being. On the front was an image of her and her daughter. I still have it on my desk, even though we are now in February.

Like this? So will your friends.
